The second quarter earnings will be reported tomorrow, Thursday. Just to give some overview of trends:
2009 earnings were $-1.29
2010 earnings were $-1.01
2011 earnings were $-.05
2012 earnings were $+.53
First Q 2013 was highest earnings per share than every quarter in the past 5 years. Namely, $.29!
If it can be sustained, even at conservative .25--.30 per quarter, thje earnings for 2013 will be over $1. will be at least $1. At $1 earnings, at current pps of $10, the FPE is only 10.
Give it a PE of 12, and price is $12 per share for the second half of 2013.
But, to accomplish this, we will need Q 2 report to be as good or better than Q 1 of earnings of .29. But I think this is very, very likely. Earnings potentially as high as .50. I also like these comparisons from the past:
In 2011, the 2nd quarter exceeded 1st quarter earnings by 100%.
In 2012, the 2nd quarter exceed 1st quarter by 40%.
For this coming report, this trend also bodes well. -Scott
