    AOD HIT THE WALL

i thought it was interesting that AOD flattened out. mgmt had a good run coming out of the depths of hell late last year. i'd give them a pat on the back right now versus a kick to the face.

although i think i'd get my kick ready if they don't get the dividend back down to a legitimate level by Q3. they need to cut another 1/3 so they can payout something close to what they can realistically earn on their assets.

    • I really think the flattening out of AOD we've seen over the past few days is primarily related to people trading around the dividend. If you click on "historical pricing," you can see that after it went ex-dividend a month ago, in early March, it traded at $5.98, then slowly rose to a high of $6.88 or so right before the ex-dividend date. The price rose gradually every week.
