Am in agreement with try2. I find it amazing that some funds can operate successfully and stay in the fee range of 1% to 1.5% while some need as much as 4% to operate on. Just goes to show that greed is everywhere. The fee is definitely something to watch for when considering buying any fund. Good luck with your search.
Curious as to the definition of greed. I've heard the term thrown around a lot the last year or so. Greed seems to be when someone else wants money, in this case 4%. If you or I want 4%, its perfectly acceptable. In fact if we throw in the statement that we want 4% rather than 1% so we can "take care of our family", its not only acceptable, but can border on heroic.
