i'm not sure who is speculating on that but it seems well stupid.. it could be but every impression I have is management is keenly aware of what is coming to oled and it is awesome and it isn't anywhere near priced into the stock.. same with RC@DC. I just find it hard to believe the company would sell out now in this phase of the emerging diffusion. The buy back speaks to the fact they know the stock is cheap. selling out now would be #$%$ unless the price is really awesome... on the other hand if institutions collected enough shares to trump the likes of management and RC@DC they could force the deal... though there were poison pills though. Hard to say at this point but I think most investors are in it for the 10 bagger through 2020 a buy out here would really steam a lot of folks looking for that progression. On another hand, I've always thought SMD should just acquire them. any number of candidates could be likely Merck , BASF, Idemitsu K, Sony, lighting companies... the buy out list is huge but I generally had the impression they weren't for sale... at nearly any price.
