900 April 32, 33, 34 Contracts purchased at the Ask
Weird looking transactions to me. It looks like all aggressive long bets with the execution at the ask. I don't see any corresponding selling or put action to make it look hedged. Straight up aggressive buying as far as I can see.
I guess it could be expensive protection for a short position, but I really don't understand the trade unless someone is making an random long-side gamble with a spare $50K or so. With such little time to expiration it seems pretty odd to me.
I'm supportive of the bet, and I hope it pays off big. I simply don't understand it.
You make sense to me as the conference call is scheduled for May 9th and the guys have a history of being very closed mouthed about news. Sounds like someone is making a big bet that there will be something that would cause an announcement shortly.......like an LG contract???
check my latest post.....that's the reason for the spike. Those contracts are probably a hedge against a short position in case of a sudden unexpected "event" like the mention on briefing I just posted. those calls are cheap insurance on a sizable short position
People are buying aggressively because anyone who was reading this board can see there is someone bashing OLED who is obsessed with LCDs and quantum dots. Sounds frantic, is he seeing things or something?
