a good move...every now and then I feel the need to set the historical record straight about qd vs oled...like today and then set him back on ignore. Frankly its sad that we can't have a more civil discussion about how to utilize the tech that UDC itself funded in the first place...Perhaps UDC's new out of the box/unconventional path will bring an olive branch around between the 2 paths traveled or maybe they'll find a newer nano-tech to replace both oled/qd paths carved out. QD fans could be more appreciative and say thanks for getting us started and after 10 years of research we think we can add value to a hybrid solution... but instead they want to execute their original sponsor...darn children...
frankly what is missing is some kind of feedback rating on each user such that New users would be able to filter out trolls or pumpers as they see fit per their desired perspective. I understand each side of the coin may want to ignore the other. Although I think its healthy for each side to share a little skepticism of its own arguments, so set ignore of your enemies at your own peril... that said I have umpteen bashers on my ignore list...and can't figure out how to view the list anymore... lol.
I have no trouble reading about any new technology as long as the discussion is relevant
(1) The new tech might threatens OLED and is already in the production stage (none of this Nippon Steel is working on a new OLED .... and perhaps in 5 years will go into production... bla bla...
(2) I can invest in it.
QD does not threaten OLED nor can one invest in it.
