    Heading to $10 again

maybe sub-$10 this time. This stock is poison, wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

    • as far as the wineries are concerned...LUK has a total investment of $90M spread across their wine operations in Oregon, CA, and WA. I don't know how much actual cash flow they generate, but I would not be suprised if the 230 acres at Pine Ridge in Napa is worth $90M alone....great dirt, prime location, fully functioning winery with a strong brand name. I don't know crap about vineyard values but thats $390K/acre...doesn't seem that steep to me?

    • the thing i like about LUK is i think they are about to start generating some strong cash flow. this on going cash flow will maily come from Fortesque (IOUs i think will eventually turn to cash), CLC (delays will be overcome and full production cranking hopefully in Q3 2010), JEF (profitable and taking share), & ACF. i think this will stabilize LUK a bit going forward and i continue to like the value LUK appears to present with their assets.

    • ". Same time insiders all dumping truckload this stuff for religious "bag holders" and you can´t agree, they are selling low."

It's simple math. When you buy a stock for Zero and sell it for $25 you are buying low and selling high (the net profit is $25/share). I don't see the paradox, I only see your inability to count.

    • What's the use of holding or buying at this level while MS (or someone else) is obviously dumping? I'm no trader, but just look at the shares coming constantly on the ask. With all of the other opportunities to make (or at least stop losing) value, why buy in to this stock while it's still collapsing?

    • With this anemic volume and MS dumping shares, this is going nowhere but down. Keep your powder dry, cause we're going into the teens.

    • In this "table", it is not too difficult to see, who is patsy.

    • It is paradoxal, when you keep parroting how cheap and good buy LUK is at these levels. Same time insiders all dumping truckload this stuff for religious "bag holders" and you can´t agree, they are selling low. It is paradox, Both cannot be right, and would i believe rathar C&S assumption and action related value of LUK or some sucker who cannot give even one legitimate argument, to support his long position.

    • " you read my statement again, you understand what I meant. You cannot make money buying high and selling low.

” besterman: They haven't sold anything.”

I would refer recent insider activity (dumping truckload of common stock) other ways than “they haven’t sold anything”. Maybe I’m not going to go any further in this discussion. "

By the way you are a complete fool, they bought their shares for $0, so when they sell at $25 it's buy LOW SELL HIGH!!

the IQ of the posters here is approaching zero.

    • I thought you were talking about their investments. I think the two owners of Leucadia have made quite a fortune so I wouldn't be too worried about them. They started with negative net worth on their credit cards and have a net worth from Leucadia of about $600-$700 million each.

I'm glad you are worried about that though with all the concern about executive compensation. Good job!

    • “besterman: What are you talking about "buy high, sell low" approach?”
