    Prem Watsa

Prem Watsa, a Canadian, is considered the Warrem Buffett of Canada. During the 4th quarter of 2012 and the 1st quarter of 2013 he established and increased his position in NVDQ to 2.84 million shares. I have tried repeatedly to post the article here with no success.

    • So, why is this stupid thing down over a dolar in the last 2 days. Maybe he dumped them, or maybe he needs to buy more, or maybe lots of people need to buy more. OR, maybe, the HFT's and daytraders, and shorts need to find somewhere else to play.

Trading yesterday was anemic (~125k) up until the end of the day and there were only sellers so the price continued to deteriorate. Downward pressure in low volume is typical and not of concern. At the end of the day someone came in and bought 125k shares as a block. Sounds like Prem Watsa took advantage of those that don't have a view (possibly insight) that he has. The upcoming earnings will probably indicate who has the better understanding of what NVDQ is doing. Last quarter NVDQ came very close to breakeven in ongoing earnings. They weren't suppose to be at breakeven for a year or more by the analyst reconing. They may not hit breakeven this quarter either. If they don#$%$ because they have ramped up spending on new personell and production capability for the Pinpoint launch.

Either way NVDQ's ultimate value has not yet been appreciatied by the market in general.
        Enjoy the journey.
