It seems the deplay of the earning has no impact. As long as there is no restatment, who cares whether the report is late for few days.
For the rally today, here is my guess: 1. It had been going down in the past few days, today is just simply a swing back.
2. Earning is getting close. I have a hunch it has a kiler earning. Some guys knows the inside info (as they are preparing the book). My guess is the earning report might be a little tricky to do because they have a killer quarter, but they don't want to get caught by a wrong report, so they are spending time to make the earning release right.
