Short Interest In Halozyme Therapeutics Declines 12%

.The most recent short interest data has been released by the NASDAQ for the 05/31/2013 settlement date, which shows a 1,217,926 share decrease in total short interest for Halozyme Therapeutics Inc (HALO_), to 8,852,807, a decrease of 12.09% since 05/15/2013. Average daily volume for HALO at the 05/31/2013 settlement increased to 1,816,628, as compared to 1,214,727 at the 05/15/2013 report. That brought "days to cover" down to 4.87, a 41.22% decrease from the 8.29 days to cover calculated at the previous short interest data release.
You may want to rephrase that "125 days to cover" part. Perhaps a new topic? Must be a typo.
Otherwise, excellent news. It was before the latest conference as well. If Herceptin clears CHMP on June 27, days to cover should go down to 1 or 2. Then HTI-501, Then Mab-Thera, possibly interrupted by diabetic medication launch. Might throw in news about HYQvia and FDA.
Shorts must have option insurance, or they are in trouble. I think that's how it works.
