My question to the folks on this board is simply this. Do you understand the title of my message and how it is applied within the scientific community? Obviously I am asking how it is applied in publishing a piece of research. I know with absolute certainty that the health and science editor Maggie Fox has no understanding and wrote her article from a biased anti pharma and Merck position. These reporters are part of the Obama/Clinton team and anything coming from them should be taken with a grain of salt. Unfortunately most people take this written garbage as the truth and condemn Merck the company and dump its stock. When sanity returns this will be seen as another buying opportunity.
Yup! But thats whats popular right now, bash the pharma industry. Lots of krap gets published in medical and other scientific journals. Its not the first pseudoscientific article published against Vioxx. What people have to realize is that the people who do not get regular paycheck from a pharma employer need even more to publish to survive, so they can get grants. Guess what happens, but there is no glory to go after the little guy so the media goes after the big guy.!!!!
