Corporate policy needs to be amended to make this practice a matter of company policy. Speak badly of Merck or its management and no drugs for you. This needs to be brought to a vote at the next annual meeting.
Absolutely agree with your fine post. If someone criticizes Merck's management they should prepare themselves and their families to face the consequences. It's just good business and is not personal.
Yes this is a GREAT idea. People that speak ill of Merck Or it's management deserve to be punished. Critics and their extended families should not be allowed access to Merck products. Then they will think next time before they speak.
I wonder if the reaction would be the same if he said "Merck has discovered the cure for Sickle-cell anemia: just stop licking food stamps". Do you think that is just as stereotypical?
GREAT idea there by you! People are certainly free to say whatever they choose about the company and it's management and the company has the right and duty to pick and choose who it provides medications to. I like your thinking on this and hopefully it will become Merck Corporate policy very soon.
Agree 100% with your outstanding post. People need to be held accountable for their actions and if they don't approve of Ken Frazier's methods they are quite welcome to go somewhere else for any required medications.
Wow - so you would withhold life-saving treatment because someone thinks that Ken Frazier said something racist and stupid - even though he did. That's an interesting approach and one to which MRK corporate clearly should not subscribe. Frazier got angry and said things for which he was forced to apologize on behalf of both his employer and the university he serves as a member of the Board of Trustees. His behavior was completely unacceptable and threats to my welfare will not stop me from stating my opinion.
