    Mid 80's?

ASH is a $65 stock. What the heck drove it to the mid $80's? It's sure not O'Brien's management. It was a great company, well diversified until he took over. He's sold winning parts and bought losers ever since he's been there.

    • Well diversified until he took over? What are you smoking? Company is transformed into a specialty chemical company now. Idea of selling AWT is not great. While it's not the high flying division, the steady results provide exactly what O'Brien said he wanted to get by transforming the company - damping out some of the wild swings in earnings with the economic cycle. Water division will be deliver slow, but steady growth YOY for years to come if given the time to execute the current strategy. New leadership in water team has been in place for less than a year! If water division is sold management will look back at some point and regret that decision.
