I live in Europa, where the authorities have a rather "religious" attitude to how people have to loose in weight, and I do not think that either VVUS or ARNA will get an approval for the eupean market.
If an obesia poruduct will get an approval I think it will be Novo's Victoza. But it's just my opinion.
I agree. Europe is still very much of the attitude that obesity is a choice than a disease and proper diet and exercise is the answer. I think they will take a wait and see on Belviq and Qsymia. They'll let the Americans go with it for a few years a least before they approve either one.
Looking at the efficacy of Belviq... pretty bad... lot of people will be bad mouthing Belviq soon. "I paid $450 and lost 2 lbs!" , "Belviq is worthless!", "Don't waste your money!" and so on.. epic FAIL coming for Belviq
