Did anyone else read that article in MIT's Technology Review about being able to print basic semiconductor chips on your laser printer in the near future? Pretty interesting and pretty dangerous to the semi industry.
They may be printing semiconductors, but will never have even remotely close to the density that photolithography give you. I'm involved in both designing semi's and laserprinters and know this claim is NOT a threat to FCS.
printing semiconductors has already been done for several years, and that MIT professor is going to IPO the company known as ePaper or eInk. However, the applications are vastly different and more on the MEMS side. FCS does not have the technical capabilities to compete in these fields.
