Look for AMKR to remind us of their "strong" financial condition (really??) and that paying Tessera $140M is no big deal. In my opinion, AMKR needs more cash. I'm waiting for KIM to float another inside bond deal and continue to consolidate his ownership.
Way to AMKR, market at all time high, stock at all time low. Someone else bailed today. Why would someone want to own this, again? Poor management, poor governance, low ROE, high leverage, pending litigation, history of poor performance and disappointments...I could go on. I have been waiting more out of curiosity to see what happens here. Management leaving...finally and no plan announced.
finstats, you hit all the nails on the head but you're being kind by using the term "poor" for management and governance. More like "abysmal" and "borderline negligent". What ever happened to the concept of ACCOUNTABILITY? The Board of Directors of AMKR should be fined, jailed and removed from contact with any public company.
