Cummins Engines might takeover WPRT
They have orders for many many thousands of brand new engines that operate on Natty all over the world.
Crude oil is too high and Natural Gas is cheap.
WPRT has all the patents on the Truck and Bus Natty technology.
CLEAN owns a large chunk of WPRT.
That is why?
Bix bite, piss off, you are spreading false information. There is no such equity link between clne and wprt. And cummins won't buy wprt- they already have a jv which is good enough at this stage of development.
The last time I looked, Andrew Littlefair was listed as an insider of Westport and held about 100,000 shares. There was no listing I can remember for CLNE the company owning any Westport although Westport owned CLNE shares, but sold most of it to raise cash sometime ago. About a year ago was the last time I looked at SEDI, and I haven't ever seen Littlefair selling any of it nor acquiring more since then. (I do check other sites for recent activity.)
Up to date Insider info on Westport can be found at the link.
If I am not mistaken If WPRT gets taken out CLNE should have a windfall. (cap gains)
But if WPRT is not taken out CLNE will have a windfall. (fill stations)
Truckers and Buses need to pull up to the filling station and purchase Natty.
So, it is hard to see CLNE lose?
MP...The only thing I found was Thomas Boone Pickens owns about 3 millom shares which is greater than 5% here's a link.
