Hope u like making money and bought solars. JKS, STP & SOL etc. CLNE and natural gas arent going anywhere soon. No policies in place to drive natural gas infrastructure. I forgot, planes dont fly well on solar energy but the stocks make out quite well.
Depends on what you mean when you say "real movemnt." First of all, solar exists only when there is government subsidies. It is not, and has never been an efficient and cheaper alternative - unless you live off he grid. Same goes for wind. Both power sources often say on their sites,"they HOPE to make elecrity as cheap as coal produced elecricity." In my studies, I haven't seen that yet. On the other hand, nat gas is growing. If you are waiting for a Yahoo headline that says 500,000 nat gas trucks ordered today and 10,000 nat gas refueling stations to be erected next week, don't hold your breath. Yes, government help would speed it up but if you read the news here and there, you see more and more orders trickling in for nat gas vehicles (mostly trucks) and more and more stations. City buses here, city garbage trucks there,a new ng Ford van, etc. As it is, it is mostly local govenments doing the helping; e.g., Long Beach. So far, the total number is insignificant but it is growing. Patience! Grasshopper.
