California's carpool sticker perk is extended, Clean Energy Fuels
Clean Energy Fuels (CLNE +6.3%) spikes higher, apparently on news that California Gov. Jerry Brown extended the state's carpool sticker program until 2019 for natural gas cars.
The stickers allow drivers of electric cars, plug-in hybrids and those running on alternative fuels such as compressed natural gas to drive solo in state diamond lanes and pay a lower toll to cross bridges.
The governor also signed bills to make electric-vehicle charging stations more accessible to all drivers and provide $30M in incentives for hybrid and zero-emission trucks and buses.
