    • So CLNE has lost the "mother" of all contract to a start up company. Any cheerleader that loosely used the UPS name to give validity to CLNE would care to explain why Little.. and the board lost this contract?

      • I saw UPS trucks refueling at normal truck stops, but only rarely. They have always refueled at their own facilities, and Kinetrex got the deal for the five UPS distribution hubs. Only UPS trucks can refuel at those hubs, so Pilot/Flying J, Shell and so forth never did sell diesel to them.
Anyone who though UPS was the Mother of All Contracts, didn't understand the industry.

One question that needs to be asked is: "How long do you think the rest of the industry is going to watch as UPS rakes in profits by switching to LNG?"

Another point: 1000 trucks will use 15 million gallons of fuel yearly; maybe a little less for UPS. CLNE already sells 200 million. CLNE makes about 40 cents/gallon counting VTEC, so that would be 600,000 year in profit. Kinetrex reports that they spent 14 million building the facilities, and if that's what they cost, it is not worth the 14 million, in my opinion, and I would vote against their construction.
Kenetrex is gambling that they will get a small portion of what is shaping up to be a huge market. Maybe they will do well.

        Sentiment: Buy

      • We lost one tit

    • As much as we would all like to see CLNE win the ball game 100 - 0 (Sorry, It's World Series season) we all know there is competition. And Kinetrex looks well established in their area. Good web site, I thought.

The naysayers will have a tough time calling LNG a scam, and a waste of effort. They may do it, anyway, but it'll be tough to back up.

New fueling stations will make it easier to justify new trucks, and a great many of those new trucks will turn to CLNE for most refueling.

      Sentiment: Buy
