increasing ............. CWI engine shipments for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 increased by 52% to 2,409 units compared with 1,588 units in the prior year period. The quarterly volumes in North America increased by 103% driven by higher sales in all segments particularly truck applications. Growth in the trucking segment increased as a result of the launch of the 400HP version of the ISX12 G engine in August.
I am not sure if this unit sales are all types or class 8, ISXg?. At any rate from WPRT call, I got the impression that they did about .75% of #200,000 trucks in 2012, 1.5% in 2013 estimated #3000 units, and 4-5% or #8000-10,000 units next year. That tells me that they are shipping over #1000 units in Oct, Nov. Dec. quarter for the ISX12G. Collectively at 25 trucks per station, that is equal to 40 stations being opened. The only issue is most of these sales this year are CNG return to base, so CLNE may not get a potential sales from these till larger fleets with LNG starts to kick off in 1014 1st quarter. Still makes sense as to why Blu, 7-11, QuikTrip will jump in the NG station business which is about to go up by 100% year for next three to five years.
