does anyone think having CNI obtaining trackage rights from BNSF and bypassing chicago as a viable option? Looks like BNSF already has trackage rights from memphis to centralia on CNI's old Illinois Central line.
The next step would be to negotiate a haulage agreement with Transtar. This is the same tactic used when they acquired the Wisconsin Central to complete their route from Chicago to Duluth. Either way, the trains are coming to the J.
