When KPN and EWEB made this deal no one knew the stock was going to jump to eight. If EWEB knew, EWEB would have refused the offer and if KPN knew, KPN would have bought in this summer. This part is not to hard to figure out! Now should EWEB blow the deal and not have a chance to run with the big boy's? Back out of a gentleman's agreement and hope someone else makes a play for EWEB? If you own the stock long enough you will get a chance to vote!!
Management and the Bd of Directors control approx 20% of the voting stock. This swing will be more than enough to lock up the deal. Only a major controversy would cause seventy per cent of the stox populi to vote to kill the deal.
