I'm another one of those guys that appreciates the wonderful insight that "longtimefollower" provides on EMMS. I've also experienced the clipped search results that many of you have mentioned when searching for messages. I tried some of the advanced search features offered here and had some pretty good results. Not perfect, but provides a little more reading material from one of my favorite contributors.
KIDEQ was a stock that was discussed a lot back in Dec.-Jan. Interesting action that stock. It's come close to doubling this week. Some kind of auction of its assets is in the offing apparently. I nibbled a little.
I'm not playing it, because it's too speculative for me. Although It's possible you'll net $1+ out of it...eventually. Depending on how much ends up going to the creditors...and the bankruptcy attorneys.
Only by looking at stocks I know LTF tends to follow.
You can list those stocks in the combox (drop-down) on the right side of a message screen ("Get message board for:")and with cookies turned on for Yahoo message boards, type in the stock symbol for the stock. After a stock has been entered once, thereafter the symbol will be listed in alpha order in the combox by double clicking on the box with other symbols that have been listed. Click on that symbol then on "Go" for that symbol and it takes you to the summary for that message board where you can peruse the discussions listed by how recently the messages were posted for that stock. You may or may not see an LTF entry, but you can at least isolate on the most recent discussions.
Based on recent emails, LTF has indicated his interest in the following: ACTS, ALDA, AKS, ANCI, COBR, COGO, CRC, CVTI, CYBI, GAI, EMMS, GNW, HERO, HTCH, KTCC, MT, MOD, PFIN, PNX, RFP, ROIAK, RSH, SBLK, SVU, TA, TECUA, VRTB, and ZLC.
