Watching that close and the heavy buying into it was a thing of beauty. :-) There was a buy on close imbalance for the first time in ages and we traded over a million shares. Biggest volume day since the big declines.
wouldn't surprise me if some of the people who sold this thing hard in Nov are now legging back in after the 30 day wait period. They locked in their losses for taxes and are now positioning for a LT capital gain of 2-3x current value by this time next year.
I still think what this stock needs is new buyers in the mix.
I think it's a great sign that it's over $1 now and looking strong. Maybe we can get some institutional buying next year.
Clarity on the lawsuit will help drive that. I'm not sure why we haven't heard anything yet regarding the request to dismiss, or if that's a bad thing.
We won't hear anything on the Motion to Dismiss until the Motion to Compel Arbitration is decided. That will be the first decision to come out. If it is in favor of GST, CHK then has to file its opposition to the Motion to Dismiss.
