Next catalyst is court ruling on CHK's Motion to Compel Arbitration. As far as mgmt. updating on lawsuit, they have put every filing made on their website. Nothing is going on now until the ruling on the arbitration motion so there is nothing to update.
I'd like to see insider purchases too but mgmt. may have info that precludes them from buying.
The court (by way of a magistrate judge) issued a Rule 16 scheduling order yesterday, which set the case for a non-jury trial in the January/February 2014 Trial Term. While this is not dispositive of the Motion to Compel Arbitration, it seems as though one might (might I say) be heartened that the Motion to Compel Arbitration -- which has been pending for some time (Filed October 24th -- Fully briefed by December 3rd) will be denied. That leaves the defendant GST's 12(b)(6) Motion to Dismiss in play, which while unlikely result in a dismissal of all causes of action, might narrow the issues considerably.
Sure seems like current price is below any unfavorable ruling of lawsuit.Given their sucessful drilling and scottrade has them estimated at positive earnings for next two quarters.Looks to me that theres far more upside potential than downside risk. jmo
