Where are the dividends?
In May of 02 SBUX was trading at $25 and now is trading around $36. You really cannot make money like that. I like Starbucks and go there a couple of times a week, but a stock that profits the investor only by increasing in price is not a bargain. You need a stock that pays a healthy dividend. Take a look at Novastar Financial. NFY sold for around $35 a year or year and a half ago. The stock ran to $80 in December of 03 and split 2 for one. It is now trading at $53 and paying healthy dividends.
If you want to profit in the market, you are going to have to realize that will only happen when the stock has a lot of upward movement or pays dividends. Preferably both.
Well I see that 138 IQ is not working well for you tonight. Your're sure you didn't mean 13.8??
By the by I am hoping for a Panther win. If New England wins then it's down the tubes for the market. Supposedly.
Hey, keep those chitlins hot and those Keystones cold. Don't forget to take your Zocor before nighty night Mr Knight.
You must really be jealous of the old poster bobby knight to try and take his name.
Oh yea...we remember when you tried to tell us you only used one ID and then had to admit to these being yours too.
At least use your own ID, so if people have you on ignore they don't have to read your posts.
Can we be honest about it that you steal/copy other people's IDs?
I was wondering when, or how many Scarbucks locations were around when SBUX first chose to disclose same store sales comps. Some think that Peet's under 80 locations need to do it now? I'm just trying to find out when SBUX first did it? Was it '92, '93 or '94 or beyond?
Trivia...?? If you don't know, just continue to wear your dunce hat and join OZ and FIREFLY333.
