The end of an era. Who will carry the banner?
Bub, I have walked through America, have seen the flags that fly at many gates - I have known the charity of those who believe they belong to the best country in the world. I believe I understand the American spirit that Kurt Vonnegut called 'Universal Will To Become'.
I have lived on this planet for nigh on sixty years, and I think I have come to terms with the human spirit and its aspirations.
I have looked beyond what Go says, and I have detected an arsehole.
Tera, it has been my experience that sometimes you need to look beyond what one says. Per Go, the man loves his country, is a friend of the men and women who defend it and offers charity. Me generous? Appreciate that, but no.
Will he, or won't he?
Resign, that is. Governor Sanford, has absolutely flipped his lid. Don't know if it made the national news but he had a sit down with the AP and was crying about his Argentine "soulmate", but he's going to try and fall back in love with his wife again. South Carolina politics at its very finest.
43, that's great about the house. Bet it's nice. Tell the guys a dumbass hick from Mass says hey. But we're still gonna beat your Yankees! arr
Well. it looks like you are in for a drying trend at least, heading into the holiday weekend.

Weather, double arr arr Don't rain on my plans if at all possible.

Hey, I'll do my best...
Oh, guess you meant the "WEATHER"! LOL.
Never mind!
WS, my favorite is Tuna or Mahi, depending on which one is in front of me for dinner. The best. Don't overcook it, Swabbie. arr Let Pops have some fun. Make sure he steals one if he buys; they can't get rid of 'em. All's settled down here. Thanx
Hey 43. Hoping weather doesn't trash the weekend. Going to Newport for a couple nites on the boat. Usually hard to get a transiet slip, but not this year. Economy. How'r you?
"What's shakin'?"
I'm good. Hows about you? Everything settling down from your recent loss?
I've gotten over my initial aversion to even looking at a tuna steak, after having bagged too many to count, I'm going to start some serious grilling tomorrow.
Can't wait. Most of the guys I went out with are mahi lovers but give me a good yellowfin steak, slightly rare, ummm, ummm, ummm.
Hopefully talked my father out of buying an RV the other day. His roommate at the USNA has asked him to come out west for a while and he was contemplating buying. I suggested that he give a rental a test run before he makes that step. RV's seem to fall in the love 'em, or hate 'em, category.
