I just crunched all the old numbers and am predicting the company's reporting their first profit. This is usually a huge turning point in price patterns. With all the latest business deal announcements, I believe the company has intentionally mounted a PR campaign to alert fund managers that this is the quarter when CPST turns the corner! The operating profit can come in several ways; a minute reduction in research and development spending, recording sales in the current quarter, etc. I truly believe the CEO has initiated specific actions that make THIS quarter the hallmark for moving the company forward...higher operating margins and a huge jump in sequential revenue. Good luck! Let's see if I'm right!
I'm just curious about how many thousand shares you bought today. I know if I was as sure of myself as you seem to be I'd mortgage the house, barn, mule, old lady, and the kids to buy a stock that was going to give me an 80% return in one day.
You know you must be off the mark when both cricketman85 and I are in total agreement. NO WAY they are profitable this quarter. The best you should be hoping for is an operating loss of 2 million.
I suppose if I posted that I thought Capstone was going to make 5 cents a share this quarter, I would have received some thumbs up. Come on guys, get realistic in your expectations. It doesnt help you or any other longs to banter on about these pipe dream numbers, unless you are trying to build up expectations so much, that when the numbers come out, the longs have no option to be dissapointed. Is that your intention? If not, please stop posting such wishful thinking.
You are such a pumper. There is no indication that they will turn their first profit. They lost millions last quarter and will lose millions this quarter. Once the numbers come out many longs will suffer from the pump and dump from posters like you. The numbers will speak for themself.
My bad, stkanalsyt. I missed the "tomorrow". I'll be very surprised if it runs that far north unless the news today is busting phenomenal but I wouldn't rule it out in that case. Sure would do a lot for my portfolio.
Well, the only way it will close today at $2.33 is a miracle that has nothing to do with earnings. They will be announced after the close according to what I've read. Even though some numbers I crunched said a tiny profit, I'm very inclined to dismiss them as there has been no price creep over the last few days. Almost all week we've been hung between $1..26 and $1.29 with momentary dips and peaks. The market is not excited at all about CPST's chances to surprise us.
I will close with this. A positive surprise will make for an interesting post-market trading session and one big gap up on Friday. A negative one and we'll close the old gap at $1.03 on Friday.
and i'm very long
like many have said, the 4th qtr is always a garbage qrt when the co takes charges for inventory and other items.so to think they will be net profitable last qtr is a bit of a strech
but i hope ur right and i'm wrong
