CPST is a 10 bagger by end of 2014. I'm a Civil Eng'r by training with much experience in the Hydrocarbon Industry

The Micro Turbines produced by CPST are an excellent answer to the need for independent Power Production in remote areas. The need for this Power is endless and the range of fuels that can supply these Turbines is extremely broad. CPST and the needs of the Energy Industry are a PERFECT match

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • A 10 bagger means a market cap. of $5 billion, share price of $16.50. To do that sales would have be be running at a $650 million rate by December. I will have to say you are dreaming big. Let's be realistic. Perhaps $267 million rate, $1.33 Billion market cap and a $4.31 share price give or take a penny.

      • Even that rate of growth is not needed to paint a very rosy picture over the next 5 years. If you surmise that CPST's growth in sales will double each year over the next five and that profits will grow much faster, the pps appreciation could make this a $50 stock somewhat like this. 2013 high = $1.50, 2014 high = $3, 2015 high = $6, 2016 high = $12, 2017 high = $24, 2018 high = $48. If the company can reach profitability soon (and I think they will) this will probably be way too conservative a projection of yearly highs as microturbines fill their power production niche. Market excess and greed (IOW, typical market behavior) might even double these projections. JMO.

      • Perhaps I'm reaching too much, but I was thinking of Momentum and perhaps the excitement of their PROVEN product finally gaining GLOBAL acceptance. I'll tone down my rose colored glasses!

        Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • They almost have a monopoly on this size power unit with it's variable fuel acceptance. Orders are backlogging very fast. I expect hic-us in cash flow and pricing, but these UNITS ARE SELLING THEMSELVES!

    • I am curious. Two years ago Capstone began doing business in South America (Brazil specifically). Brazil has turned itself into a country with no dependence on foreign energy. The next step is to optimize the energy they produce. Capstone must be part of the plan? Just curious.

      • CPST produces Micro (small) Turbines. Think of their Turbines as the small generators that folks buy from Home Depot during area wide power outages (just an example)
These Turbines are perfect for powering pumps in remote locations for pipelines, drilling, etc.
They can run off a wide variety of fuels such as waste Nat Gas (Russia is buying them to run on Nat Gas that is normally Flared.
