Memo to NYT news Staff:
The NYT presses are not set to print $ bills. That prerogative rests with the US Government. Just because the news staff collectively lobbies to have the US Government print, relentlessly, does not allow the NYT to do the same. We have to live within our means. P.S. Newsflash! Eventually, the country will have to live within its means despite what Paul Krugman smokes.

I'm sure the administration will do whatever is needed to keep them around to do their bidding. Once they no longer need them they'll discard them like an old sock. Any clear thinking person ask yourself this. If the antics and policies of this administration where a republican would they be quiet? Would they suddenly find reasons that their policy especially economic as misguided as this one is OK? No, they would actually either get a pair or act as they originally where a long time ago, fair and objective. You remember when they where a respected news organization. Not a pathetic drone of the left.

And now 30 news staffers are let go. Would it have been better for everyone to take a pay and benefit cut so those 30 could continue to help me "understand" my community. Where is Paul Krugman? Gone to look for John Galt?
