The Vice Chairman Michael Golden said that the New York Times has a duty to sell the Globe to the highest bidder but he hopes to leave it in responsible hands. Brilliantly, he has just laid the groundwork for a nice shareholder lawsuit if the Globe is sold to those with a liberal bent. His obligation to shareholders is not to consider buyers who share his own political biases. Think I'll buy a few shares just to give myself a chance to initiate the suit.
I wish you luck rura. But I won't be wasting not 1 cent of my hard earned money on this dinosaur. Besides you can't get blood out of a turnip. As the NYT will be BK before your case makes it to trial. I do wish you luck though. Take some of that LSM money away from those azzes.
