    This Is Getting Monotonous

Can anyone remember the last time this stock had
an up day? It's like trying to remember the time
before sex scandals at the White House -- very distant,
    mist-shrouded, almost unreal.

Someone is or some ones are
doing some serious dumping of this stock. The question
is, how long will they continue, and will they be
satisfied before they drive the price down to $10?

    • Way I see it, the whole fiasco before and after
the split was unjustified. Comapnies like NYT is not
a big on growth so one really has to pay attention
to the valuation. But people got caught up in the
frenzy and bid up the price anyway. So if you bought it
during that rally, this is I guess a lesson in
investment. NYT is not MSFT and the latter is still
overpriced in my book. I think given the state of the market
now, $30 for NYT is fairly priced. I am not touching
this thing unless it hits $25 if the market continues
to decline. Of course, the $25 target price is
conditional on no future bad news. If it doesn't happen, I
will see it as a possible missed opportunity but will
not chase it for any price higher than that.
