    The honest truth is...

I own 20,000 shares at $1.55, so I am not a basher, what I have become is a realist. I remember after buying my shares someone who sold for a loss was cutting down HUSA and my thought and response was... you're bashing, you're just mad, shuld have not sold so early, this is a easy money gainer. My idea was to sell at $2.55 and make a quick $20,000. The one posting I was getting sick of, he said... I'm just trying to warn you and everyone else, HUSA plays games, go invest somewhere else. Now I'm that guy. I'm really not bashing, I see what HUSA does and how they handle situations. He or she was correct, the management sucks. I do hope we see $5 a share, but unlike others on this board, I'm trying to be realistic and honest about this stock. Good luck everyone.

    • sorry for your losses but this company is not producing anything for the moment. they sold their producing assets couple of quarters back. i would not buy in until there is confirmation of oil form drilling. if you are looking for an excellent value stock with operations and revenues near $30m in the rare earth mining business where company is also aggressively acquiring assets and becoming a leading in China which has 90% of world rare earth mines, have a look at SHZ.

    • I totally understand what you are saying and agree myself. I'm averaged in at 1.67 a share @ 10k shares..So I am no brasher either but this company has poor management etc...I do know if results are good you will here plenty on this board kissing managements Axx! I hope results are good but even if they are management still sucks and I will definitely take profits and move on for good..

      • You all are missing some key ingredients to the HUSA story. I've been in the stock from day one and rode it up and back down and in at many price levels with a substantial position. Management doesn't suck! They got HUSA into Colombia 10 years ago on a shoestring and rode it to a billion dollar sale by Hupecol (old line Texas oil men) that netted shareholders a 1000% gain. They then teamed up with SK, the fourth largest corp. in So. Korea and I believe that's where the problems began, as HUSA has a 37 1/2% stake, but SK is the big kahuna and operator and likes to elephant hunt. I personally wish HUSA was drilling the CPO-4 with Hupecol.
The fact that we are now one full month into the testing period on the Zorro Gris is perhaps trying our patience, but not out of the ordinary, as there were at least four potential pay zones slotted for testing. And, routinely, things happen deep down in the earth such as testing tools not functioning properly and then Schlumberger has to pull the tool and replace it which takes time, but is not a well killer.
A successful completion in the Zorro Gris will reaffirm HUSA's ability to produce and the stock will respond accordingly. No #$%$ here, just the the plain unvarnished truth. By-the-way, the trading for the last month or so has been mostly manipulation, trading for rebates and short selling which has averaged about 42% of volume.

I understand what you are saying here. I am new to trading stocks. I started out really small because I didnt have alot to invest/trade in the first place but also traded what I didnt really need so if I lost it I wouldnt be heart broken. So I started with 3000 and was doing really well, I thought at least, and turned it into 6500 in 2 months. Then proceeded to buy into husa at $2.62. So I am feeling the hurt now. Maybe good news is around the corner. I hope so at least.
