Dionex is a company that makes ion chromatography systems. It is rumered that they are going to be bought out by Hewlett Packard. Does anyone on this board know enough about this industry to comment on this? It seems like a good match, HWP is a competitor of Dionex and Dionex seems like a pretty good company. Any thoughts/answers would be appreciated. Thanks.
What ever happened to the ceo of tmo,his "DEATHWISH" to shorts of thermolase. Looks to me that the shorts have one that war;feel bad for those institutions as well as the small mom&pop investors who bot the hype at the secondary offering which was at $25.50. The bonuses and options accorded, especially those cross options in the more few successful thermo spinouts, during the decimation of thermolase minority shareholders illustrates a self aggrandizing management at its best. It seems that the prophecy was just hype;tlz has now been abandoned and may suffer the same fate as did voltek. IT APPEARS THAT THERMO KNEW THE SOFT LIGHT PROCEDURE WAS NOT EFFICACIOUS, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY SIMPLY DID NOT WORK AT THE TIME OF THE OFFERING; A GREAT SHORT SALE TO THE BENEFIT OF THE INSIDERS AND INVESTMENT BANKERS.
