I keep hearing rumors that the GWR is taking over some NS track in southern Georgia in November. This would connect the Chattahoochee Industrial and the Chattahoochee Bay railroads at Hilton, Georgia to the Georgia Southwestern and Georgia & Florida at Albany, GA. I guess the NS would interchange at Albany.
GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Genesee & Wyoming Inc. (GWR:$57.6200,$0.5300,0.93%) announced today that its newly formed subsidiary, the Hilton & Albany Railroad, Inc.
