I agree, it's very frustrating. I'd imagine it's because the majority of the shares are owned by one person, so anything that needs to be voted on is really her decision. They're really just going thru the motions.
I think I have more wrapped up in Paulson chips and dice than I do in GPIC. I put in a limit order for a good number of shares that sat for a week, and even then less than half the order got filled. Not exactly liquid, but you gotta love the company and its history. I lowered my limit price and I will do some more waiting.
Well I did call today and got an upfront answer. The date will come with the proxy sometimes in or around March. The meeting is usually held in the 1st 2 weeks of May. So maybe you get about 8 weeks leeway.
