All of the "Suckers" that sold last year

did not have thier "thinking caps" on. Silver is gonna rip it up and is the investment of the next "Millineum". Supply is outpacing demand and for the first time in human history silver is more rare than gold. If you don`t believe it just watch what happens in 2012 !!!

    • Plus he owned dozens of slaves with no mortgage.

    • "These ebbs and flows in the currency and these indiscreet extensions of credit naturally engender a spirit of speculation injurious to the habits and character of the people. We have already seen its effects in the wild spirit of speculation in the public lands and various kinds of stock which within the last year or two seized upon such a multitude of our citizens and threatened to pervade all classes of society and to withdraw their attention from the sober pursuits of honest industry. It is not by encouraging this spirit that we shall best preserve public virtue and promote the true interests of our country; but if your currency continues as exclusively paper as it now is, it will foster this eager desire to amass wealth without labor; it will multiply the number of dependents on bank accommodations and bank favors; the temptation to obtain money at any sacrifice will become stronger and stronger, and inevitably lead to corruption, which will find its way into your public councils and destroy at no distant day the purity of your Government."

      I'll bump that..thanks, silver seeker

Jackson was/is very controversial...however, this site claims the following as fact:
      "Fact #1:
Andrew Jackson was the only President in American History to pay off the national debt and leave office with the country in the black."

    • Another excellent post, silverseeker123.
      Many thanks.

    • Did someone bet the farm?
Perhaps they should have planted some corn on it instead.

From Andrew Jackson's 1937 Farewell Address; we have a live example in daabaadee:

"These ebbs and flows in the currency and these indiscreet extensions of credit naturally engender a spirit of speculation injurious to the habits and character of the people.

Ethanol; product of ponzcredit and government interference, and daabaadee, product of three generations' Keynesian fiat dillusions. A perfect match, made in heaven.

      GLTA

    • Excellant Silverseeker!

    • PEIX, an ethanol boondoggle that has gone from $120 in 2007 down to $1 today and over $1/share in debt. What a massive failure, even with the assistance of massive government subsidies and pumping.
GPL, a silver stock sitting at long term support around the $2 level, with NO DEBT; making profits and growing reserves even in the face of massive Keynesian bankers' interventions to discredit Constitutional money; and anyone would consider selling this for the other?

As fundamentals return and the fiat debt ponzi fueled pyramids bankers built collapse; those whom understood the term 'malinvestment' via universal deceit will be redeemed.
Some folks are better off staying in their basements, others with heads in the sand, else they hurt themselves.

    • robo,

If your waiting for those numbers
      you'll miss it for sure.

      Oh well I tried.

IMHO, it seems only fitting that you be left behind.

That would be a poetic ending to this story.

      --------------------

      Last page, Last paragraph:

... And so it came to pass,
Daabaadee and ALL who heeded his words
      and bought PEIX were redeemed.
PEIX broke $2 after earnings and never looked back.
Robo and his minions remained behind and to this day
they are haunted by the words of daabaadee echoing in the heads,
" Buy PEIX, It's your only chance for redeemtion."

      The End

    • Buy AAPL.

      Get real.
