    • Giving advice is a dangerous endeavor. The advice giver is never around to tell you when to sell. As a contradiction, I will give you my opinion. Since natural gas is five times more expensive in other parts of the world, I would expect within 5 years we will close the gap in price. That prediction is based on the the desire of larger oil and gas companies pushing for exportation laws to change. Since it takes a year (or longer) to drill an ultra deep well, MMR will not be able to have sizable production for 3 to 5 years. That seems to fit the LNG exportation construction plans exactly.
My opinion, if you have the patience to wait that long, buy it now, request the stock certificate, put it in a safe deposit box and get off this board.
      Check back in five years.

      • I said i was signing off, but I enjoy debating too much...

I love this thread, almost feel like these would be things I would say or my family would instill in me. I do know has a option that allows a bunch of alias's to be made. I wonder if people ever use that feature? I don't know because I can't watch everyone all the time... I mean why would yahoo have that feature if nobody truly used it?!?

For good or for bad "in general" people post things with alias's or "anonymous" because they don't want to put their name on it. At least that's what a little birdie told me (or maybe mud pulse telemetry).. What do I know

If you want to get along with EVERYONE tell them what they WANT to hear. If you want to CHANGE the world for the BETTER, tell them the TRUTH - I.D.S

And I believe (more than I believe in JB or even Timmy Tebow) that the truth starts at the beginning. Some would call that genesis

Merry Christmas, and to all a good night

P.s. I think I enjoy 3 things in life... (forgive me if i'm wrong for liking these)

        1. God (I mean I get a 3 for 1 deal right?
        2. Thinking
        3. sports
3.5 adrenaline rushes (are those not God given? like fear and anger and love?)

    • Bonnie,

It is a simple question. For what it's worth it is always better to diversify, however you will probably get more of a boost just owning MMR if the wells come in bigger than expected.

    • you know i really thought this was a great board i have learned alot .. i thought you would be nice enough to give me your opinions thnx very much for all your help in the CHRISTMAS SPIRIT .. THNX BE WELL

      • Bonnie, you seem in way way over your head. I'd suggest you not be looking to a Yahoo chat board for legitimate investment advice. Hire someone who knows what they're doing or open an account with a real (non discount) broker who has a legitimate research group. You will pay more for this.

This is not the place for someone like you to be seeking advice.

That's all I'm going to say to you.

    • It's quite simple Bonnie, here at Ted's Investment Advice Emporium we deal with such questions all the time. First you write a bear put spread on MMR, then you sell PXD short against the Aussie dollar and long against the Finnish hat manufacturers index, then short XX and buy marmalade futures. I'm sure you can see the logic of that.

    • I have of late—but wherefore
I know not—lost all my mirth, forgone all custom of
exercises; and indeed it goes so heavily with my
disposition that this goodly frame, the earth, seems to
me a sterile promontory, this most excellent canopy,
the air, look you, this brave o'erhanging firmament,
this majestical roof fretted with golden fire, why,
it appears no other thing to me than a foul and pestilent
congregation of vapours. What a piece of work is a man!
How noble in reason, how infinite in faculties,
in form and moving how express and admirable,
in action how like an angel, in apprehension how like
a god! The beauty of the world, the paragon of animals!

And yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust? Man
delights not me—no, nor woman neither, though by
your smiling you seem to say so.
