    • I'm curious...which group in Massachusetts? If it's in Bedford/ is not without it's quirks and even quirkier employees.

      • Hello,

I had the good fortune to work for BD Biosciences for a few years......... It was and I still believe it is a great company and if you have to opportunity to join the company, then I would say the chances are good you would agree with me. All companies will have their issues, but I found the BD and BDB management teams to consist of fine people of good character.......... I imagine, I will see some replies to this message by people who may have a different opinion than I have......And they are entitled to their opinion, but I believe if they would stop and objectively think about things, they would discover that I am right!

      • On a macro prospective I'd say BDX is a great company and employer. However when one takes a closer look at specific entities, division, or locations drastic differences (+/-) will become obvious. Some will shine (+) and other will dimmer (-).

Any BD site in New England has to be a better place to work than the castle and fortress in (FL) New Jersey.

I think you are trying to go into too much detail by analyzing specifics on the different sites in MASS.

Just get in and the job. BDX-New England and you = perfect together !!!!

    • I'd say yes & no depending on where you go. You mention Massachusetts. BD up there is virtually a separate entity outside the command and clutches of "BD Corporate". Very independent almost like a company of its own. The independence and resistance to integrate with corporate is in my opinion a GREAT thing.

Generally it is DIFFICULT to land a position with BD these days. Using a recruiter or knowing someone on the inside is your BEST BET. If you are a minority that will help too.
