Imagine if Google bought out this like that had YouTube in infancy, here's my views

Value of the patent chest and over 700 leading banks, insurers and financial institutions as customers for this innovating mobile imaging technology company could be huge as tens of billions of dollars worth of financial transactions occuring using Mitek technology. New product roll out like mobile photo bill pay should as the CEO mentions could be even bigger than check deposit. The other day at the restaurant talking to a waitress even she said she deposits her pay check via mobile feature of Bank of America. We are in early stage of implementation and adoption. For a company like GOOG this could prove to be worth billions if they acquire Mitek now in infancy stage. You guys agree? Look at YouTube that was acquired by them for just $1 bln and at that time it didn't even generate any revenues. My guess today it should be worth at least $75 bln for them given total value of GOOG is now $275 bln.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • I hadn't thought about the buyout angle... But, who knows, anything is possible. They only have an install base of 318 with 708 to still be installed/get up and running. Based on past performance they only have been able to get less than 100 installed per quarter, that means it will be a year or longer before they even get their currently signed customer installed and up and running. I'm sure they are working on speeding that up. I wish I lived in San Diego, I would apply for a job there to help them out. :-) Maybe I could get a few shares of stock as a sign on bonus too.
