Is any big pharma working on an Alzheimer's vaccine?
Is GSK working on a vaccine for Alzheimer's?
What about this in an SEC filing, what exactly does this mean as far as what is GSK doing regarding this:http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1337905/000114420409023426/v147731_8k.htmDoes anybody know what this means in this SEC filing?

My guess this is more related to a delivery system then an actual vaccine. In other words, how to enhance the effectiveness of any potential vaccine rather then the vaccine itself. But it is a bit out of my area of understanding on vaccines.
A smaller company, Austrian, is also in the news. The three drug firms behind the vaccine, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and Elan Corporation, are expected to seek marketing approval when testing is completed towards the end of next year. The cost of the vaccine is likely to be decided only if drug licensing authorities in the UK and Europe give it the go-ahead, possibly within the next two to three years.(Report of April, 2011)Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-1379749/Alzheimers-vaccine-reverse-damage-available-years.html#ixzz1UpXi6qc3
