AM101 just received FDA approval today, it competes against Lovaza and appears far supeior in efficacy.
Does this put Lovaza's BILLION dollar business in jeopardy?
How will it effect GSK overall?
Lovaza will be the thing of the past. AMRN is the upgraded and better Lovaza aka "Lovaza 2"
The JAMA met analysis on fish oil is not going to help the over the counter fish oils and Lovaza. its about the DHA component IMO!. Vascepa is different without the DHA, but i would guess for a bit its going to hurt their stock as well! Until NCE is resolved one way or another and more AMRN patents come to fruition!

NCE designation would help AMRN as well, but whether they get that is up in the air!

let me see...
AMARIN is more effective and doesn't raise bad cholesterol...hummm that's a tuff one to answer.
Only if they have the megabucks for advertising. Otherwise, Lovaza will continue along all right.
So your answer is Lovaza is dead?
