Revenue in the three months ended in March rose 21%, year over year, to $56.2 million, yielding EPS of 11 cents a share, excluding some costs.
Analysts had been modeling $57 million and 12 cents a share.
Sourcefire CEO John Becker remarked that “Despite weakness in federal government spending, our total revenue increased 21% driven by ongoing strong performance from our International and U.S. Commercial businesses.”
For the current quarter, the company sees revenue in a range of $60.5 million to $63.5 million, and adjusted EPS of 13 cents to 16 cents. That compares with consensus of $63.3 million and 19 cents a share.
