This is pure nonsense. Somebody better give an explanation why gold stocks are getting hit the way they are. I can see some profit taking or consolidation but this is ridiculous.

Re: "I don't seem to be able to purchase shares through Schwab. Any hint idea how?"
I had a problem buying Canadian stocks online through Schwab. They referred me to their "Global" group at 1-(800) 992-4685. Hope this helps.

This is a tiny (14 mil) stock with big potential. A shot in the dark. Don't bet much. I'll probably run a grand at them with my war profits.

" sales fell 93% to $22 thousand."
Hell, maybe I need to take my company public! I did over $100k in past 2weeks just in licensing income. And these guys did $22k in a whole year? What kind of market is this?????
not so sure about this stlof...
"SHEP Technologies Inc. has designed and developed proprietary energy technology that, using electronics and hydraulic pump motors, captures otherwise lost kinetic energy generated during vehicle braking and utilizes this recovered energy for vehicle acceleration. For the nine months ended 9/30/02, sales fell 93% to $22 thousand. Net loss rose 92% to $621 thousand. Results reflect reduced sales to U.S. customers, partially offset by lower office and general costs."
Will stick to PMs ...
dana, could not agree more with you about Sinclair and TNX. You have to get a Canadian brokerage account or what? I don't seem to be able to purchase shares through Schwab.
Any hint idea how? I emailed Jim but the man gets 3k emails per day and in one week have no reply.

Thanx for the TNX tip. Have been reviewing the STLOF myself. I suspect there is more short term bang for the buck in Gold equities though.

Whitelight, Have been reading some of your thoughtful & well researched posts. If you stay out for the next several weeks, you will miss the extreme volitility & excitement to ensue. Your interest in Rocketport indicates to me that you are not a risk-averse (mutual fund meathead). I would certainly advise to get in for one of the few Rocketport rides over the next 6 years that will put you in the cabin next to me on the QEII World Tour.
Cheers
