    demoes

I remember a time when Americans were united against terrorists... Those days seem long gone, as demoes are desperately fighting to tie Bush's hands behind his back.

Former Attorney General Janet Reno and seven other former Justice Department officials filed court papers Monday arguing that the Bush administration is setting a dangerous precedent by trying a suspected terrorist outside the court system.

It was the first time that Reno, attorney general in the Clinton administration, has spoken out against the administration's policies on terrorism detainees, underscoring how contentious the court fight over the nation's new military commissions law has become. Former attorneys general rarely file court papers challenging administration policy.

Terrorists must be laughing at us right now. They know all they have to do is to appeal to the liberal kooks and get them going on a civil rights crusade to handicap any and every aspect of the war against terror.

I'm tired of Demoes invoking the Constitution and the Geneva Conventions to those whom they do not apply. We don't honor the Constitution by distorting it to suit political goals. Shame on Janet Reno and all those who are following in her footsteps. I wish they cared more about defeating terrorism then they care about undermining George W. Bush.
