Anybody actually adding $100 contributions to JAOSX in a non-retirement account?

I added another $100 at today's closing and will try and do the same on the first 'down' day of October.

If you are going to hold for 20 years and you can afford to add more, the question is, will it be up from what it is today, 20 years from now...

    good luck!

    • Thanks for the info on this fund. I do own it, I found it doing research and have only had it for a few months. I am a new investor with a large portfolio who is doing her own planning. Are there any sites where I could share my portfolio and get feedback? I'd love to get the opinion of more knowledgeable investors.

      • Hi,

Yes, try Moneyrec.com -- new site for investors to give their reviews of a stock or mutual fund and get reviews. You can also request a review from other users.

Really great site-- you can check out different ideas from new investors to experts and also within your own demographic. Serious site, not a lot of noise --

        Free to sign up.

        Regards,

        T

    • Answer to your questions. Yes, I am doing the same.

Also, who knows about 20 years, I can't figure out tomorrow in this market-- but maybe that is the wrong way to look at it- we need to focus on the long term. This has been a great fund and is destined to remain that way. Nobody should be bailing out of a fund like this during turmoil.
Stay put, add your 100 dollars-- Also, check out the new community site Moneyrec.com. Some interesting user reviews on Mutual Funds including this one. It's a free site for investors. You can request reviews, also.
