Between portability and Christmas and people who are just upgrading their contract or improving their cell, retail sales for the next 6 weeks could be beyond any previous expectation. My wife had her cell stolen Wednesday. AT&T Wireless had a new 3650 in her hands Friday. We have 3 daughters whose contracts end in December. They all want new phones and I think they'll get them as part of the incentive to get new contracts. This could get huge nearterm.
a true investment banker... no charisma, I wonder if his wife is falling asleep on a regular basis while having sex.
He talks, NOK drops in 10sec from 18.20 to 17.80, thanx a lot.
The good thing though, he didnt say anything bad, just good news, but nothing to impress american idiots who prefer some fireworks and a crap company over boring facts with a great company...
hahaha... that's just the way it is, NOK will never get the attention it deserves in the states, but as long as they are far better than their competitors, I could care less. Better up slowly than down big time.
For swing and dayt traders it's positive to the upside. Oscillators are also positive. The reason for the roller coaster was the honest earnings report in July and a PR release at the end of September.
You'll find management is transparent ... therefore, Nokia is moving in stops and starts ... if you're a trader, the move is to the upside. If management has real positive things to say today and tomorrow, then you can tack on $1 to $1.50 as momentum traders and institutions buy in.
Volume was creeping up on Friday and today volume is way ahead of the daily average.
