Apple was down 1.2% in a market that was down 1.7%. Don't you think that if Apple's drop was due to Lumia sales stealing iPhone market share instead of just an overall down day for the major averages that Nokia would actually be up? Or at the very least down less than Apple? Nokia was down 2.1% today. This just doesn't square with the assertion that Apple was down because of the Lumia's strong debut.
I agree that they will be getting some percentage of existing Apple customers but dont think the Apple dip is because of what Nokia is doing right now. Do expect Nokia shares to rise due to an unanticipation of the appeal of this newest offering, seems to be very favourably received but the numbers will speak for themselves.
