You might be on to something here. It was strange that Nokia did not answer how much the new Lumia phone will cost. They could be waiting for Apple to set price of iPhone5 and will make that a a basis how much they will undercut iPhone5.
Strategically well positioned to gain attention & market share...It's business not cowardice...
Pricing will be NOK's killer against iphone popularity....$100.00 below iphone5 is good enough for me on my upcoming upgrade.......I was about to upgrade to Galaxy S III...Glad I saw Lumia 920 a phone well positioned in the developing ecosystem...A christmas gift for myself........I enjoyed my iphone though...too bad
I don't believe for one second that Nokia is employing some strange gamesmanship maneuver with Apple. I think Nokia was so desperate to announce the new Lumia that they jumped the gun and held he big reveal before even they knew the details of who/when/how much. They're still working a lot of that out.
I don't think Nokia jump the gun. I think it was their intention to put Apple in notice that we have a good phone right here let's see what you have coming that could be better. By that, I think it accomplished what it needed to do. Now the ball is in Apple's court to come up with something that better be more amazing than the Lumia 920.
